This guitar is a rock machine! The Detour adds another double cutaway solid-body to Godinšs growing roster of Performance Series guitars. The short-scale (24.75 in.), Rock Maple, neck provides both easy string bending and a comfortable, compact feel. A block of Silver-Leaf Maple provides a solid anchor point for the bridge and neck with balance provided by light Poplar wings on each side of the body. Strings pass through a brass plate in the back of the guitar and through the body for maximum sustain. All of this exceptional resonance is captured by 2 Godin humbucking pickups.
